Top 7 public beaches in Istanbul:

Istanbul is a city located on two different continents, Europe and Asia. This city has a wonderful mix of cultures which makes it a great place to visit. It is also a very large city, so there is no shortage of things to do. If you are looking to spend a day or two at the beach, then you have come to the right place. Istanbul has many great public beaches that are perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and relaxing.

In this blog, we will provide you with a list of the 7 best public beaches in Istanbul.

1. Caddebostan Beach

This site has three beaches on the Asian side of Istanbul, close to Central Istanbul. Only one of these is now available to the public. There is a rescue boat as well as an ambulance. There's also a line you shouldn't swim beyond to be seen by the lifeguards. There are, fortunately, restrooms, showers, and a dressing cabinet. It's a lovely sandy beach that you'll enjoy with the locals. If you enjoy sunbathing, there are loungers where you may relax and get a tan.

2. Şile Ayazma Beach

Şile has several blue flag beaches. It overlooks the Black Sea coast and is considered the largest beach in Istanbul. At least 35 rescuers and two ambulances are working in Šile. It is on the Asian side; hence it is quite far from the centre of Istanbul. Nearby is a natural park built in 1859 and a lighthouse.

3. Yeşilköy Çiroz Beach

Yeşilköy is located on the European side of the border. This beach contains around 500 loungers and 500 beach umbrellas. Despite its location on the Marmara Sea, it has two lifeguard towers with a total of 12 lifeguards, a rescue boat, and an ambulance. If you want to have a picnic on the golden beach, there are toilet cabins and safety cabinets where you may keep your picnic basket. If small burgers and cheese sandwiches on yellow sand aren't your style, try one of the numerous adorable local eateries for a warm lunch. Beach volleyball might be entertaining if you're feeling particularly athletic. There's also a mini-soccer area for a game of beach soccer. Anyone who desires to discover the peace gardens in the back, but doesn`t like to walk, can rent a motorbike or electric powered scooters for reasonably-priced on the town hall. If you live for sunset, you`ll discover amazing perspectives with the unfastened song at the seashore.

4. Tuzla Public Beach

This is often regarded as one of the greatest beaches for ladies. The reason for this is that it is open only to women on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, which is ideal for females looking to catch some rays and tan. This beach, located on the Asian side, is one of the cleanest locations to swim. It's also on the calmer Marmara Sea's coast. It's made up of sand and gravel. Cannonballing into the sea from the extended floating platform is a pleasant activity. Another great activity is to relax while listening to music. There are a few food and beverage booths nearby, but the seafood menu at the "Palmiye Sosyal Tesisleri" (restaurant) is exceptional. Because the restaurant is owned by the municipality, the prices are inexpensive.

5. Florya Güneș Beach

If you're looking for some culture to go with your new tan lines, the Atatürk summer home is a short walk away. If you need some shopping therapy, consider visiting one of the surrounding malls, such as the magnificent Florya Mall. There's also the Istanbul Aquarium. It's also rather vast, with 1500 sunbeds, so you'll have no trouble finding a pleasant location to rest. There is also a parking space for 300 automobiles, however, parking may be difficult to locate in the summer. There are also safety deposit boxes if you bring any valuables.

The Güneş beach is a local favourite. This might be due to the fact that security and cleaning are performed on a daily basis. In other words, the pristine sea makes this one of Istanbul's top beaches. You may play beach volleyball while listening to instrumentals on the radio. There is a little admission charge, but it is far less expensive than a private beach club.

6. Burgazada Madam Martha Public Beach

Because Burgazada is one of the numerous gorgeous little islands, you will need to board one of the Princes Islands Ferries to get here. Also because the sea is rather rocky, you will need to wear swim shoes. However, the short boat voyage is well worth it only for the restaurants providing fantastic fish and amazing seafood that you won't find anywhere else in Istanbul. Barba Yani entered our list of the top Mezes in Istanbul!

Apart from that, the Princes Islands are recognized for being a peaceful, meditative location. You may trek up to the monastery to meditate if you need a little serenity. If monasteries aren't your thing, you may rent a bike and ride around the island. You may also go to the Sait Faik Abasyank Museum here. You'll be exhausted by the time you get back to the boat station!

7. Anadolufeneri Beach

This beach is more suited to ships than to swimmers. It is located on the Asian side of the Black Sea. If you wish to go swimming, you'll need to wear swimming shoes because the sea is quite stony. It does feature a fantastic lighthouse and stunning views. If you're looking for a quiet picnic away from the crowds, this may be one of the greatest beaches to pretend you know Istanbul beaches better than the locals.
